The Uniform Project

I JUST came across this website: The Uniform Project and it was so clever I just had to re-post it!

It's such a cute idea, I love it. Very smart indeed AND for a good cause.

Bascially this girl decided to wear the same dress for 365 days (yes that's 1 whole year folks) to raise money to help put kids through school in India.

I know what you're thinking: "Ew, I hope she washed it." (Yes apparently she had 7 of the same dress made just for that very purpose.) and, "Omg, I would die on the inside...and probably I would just die altogether because wearing the same thing everyday would, um yeah, kill me."....Well that's the first thing I thought of but in the video you will see just how creative this girl is over her 365 days

Project: Tie-to-the-Dye. Pt. 2

Here's a catch up on the tie-dye dress project....

As usual I'm having some major qualms about it! I'm sure some of you will be like, "Well OBVIOUSLY, I mean it looks like a hippie threw up on a fembot or something...." (Did I ever mention I'm somewhat negative?)

I was feeling quite at peace with it for about 45 minutes but that didn't last.

Fickle am I.

I kept going with it and even though I've pretty much finished it I will most likely change it COMPLETELY.

I'll take some pictures of the dress for next time and also show the final result which should be quite different from this.

Did it myself #4

This a little dress I made recently.

It started out way way different (as usual) it even became a top at some point and ended up being a dress again by the end.

I guess sometimes I just need to try everything before I really know what I want as the end result.

I do love it but it will most likely be sold in my online store (as soon as I get it up and running!). Mainly just because I can't wear it here, it's too warm! :(
